Since 1986, the Emergency Management Issues Special Interest Group (EMI SIG) has been a nationally recognized and highly respected organization within the Department of Energy (DOE) and National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). It has provided a unique platform that has served as a hub for subject matter experts across all disciplines, and representatives from all DOE/NNSA sites, to network, collaborate, support, and learn from their professional counterparts.

Throughout the year, subcommittee interactions take place through monthly virtual meetings. The subcommittees commit to create value-added products that will enhance the DOE/NNSA community. The capstone of all these contributions is the Emergency Management Symposium which gives members the opportunity to recognize and showcase their arduous work and achievements. This year’s Symposium will be held on May 6-8, 2025, at the Hilton Netherland in Cincinnati, Ohio.

We are soliciting vendors that provide products and services to emergency management and first response organizations. The 400 in-person attendees are interested in resources and tools to improve their preparedness and response to hazards and emergencies across the DOE and NNSA Enterprise. Selected vendors will be provided a 10'x10' booth space, a six-foot skirted table, chairs and AC power. There is no cost for participating but we have a limited number of spaces available. Exhibitors can also attend conference sessions.
